Didn't this thread used to be about the symbolism of the monsters, and the lack of dogs in Silent Hill......2, I think? My memory simply won't allow me to remember whay sub-section of Silent Hill I am in here, and I don't feel like jumping back to check. :)
I do find it interesting that there is a Dog ending in SH2 when there are no dog enemies. This seems to be the only game so far to not have dog enemies, although I am only about 20 minutes into Origins, so maybe there aren't any there either.

Willst du, bis zum Tod, der scheide, sie lieben auch in schlechten Tagen?

I always hated the creepers from the first one, they got in the way at the school when i was trying to shoot some babies, they didnt really cause too much of a commotion in the second one for me though...
And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe

Mockingbird wrote:The body of a man later identified as Thomas Orosco (Lumberjack, age 39) was discovered in the living room lying face down.

The probable cause of death was multiple stab wounds to thefront of the neck and the left side of the torso by a sharp edged weapon. The estimated time of deat was somewhere between 11:00pm and 12:30 midnight.

Due to signs of struggle in the room and the lack of a murder weapon, police are considering this a homicide and have opened a murder investigation.

Furthermore, given the fact that the cash in the room was untouched and Mr. Orosco had a history of drunkenness and violence, the police suspect that the motive was not robbery but was that of a crime of passion.

Lumberjack? Hmm... once you beat the game, don't you find a chainsaw buried in a stack of wood? Since it would be seen as James 'revisiting' Silent Hill in a 2nd playthrough, maybe he remembers the bit about the lumberjack...

Right... I've let this topic go on mindlessly for a while now. Further off-topic posts will be removed.

Will come back and do a constructive post myself now that I'm more educated.

If you don't see your posts in here, it's because I've removed unrelated posts.
