Perhaps firing the trumpet-gun was the act of summoning? That's what I took from it anyway.

James: I'm takin' yer Great Knife!

Pyramid Head: Oh yeah? Well. . . I'm takin' yer wooden plank!

James: *pout*

(Sorry. Couldn't help myself.)

Nope, definitely the game version. Note the flat front panel as opposed to the sharp point used in the film version.

I think the big plank looks quite cool, and it's more than adequate defence against flying monkey trumpets.

Can't say I was that blown away by the soundtrack for 0rgins. I think Yamaoka kind of missed the mark. The sound design was pretty average and there was only a couple of songs that stood out for me. And I wasn't digging any of the other world stuff at all. For the first time I actually started to find the soundtrack a little jarring after a while. It kind of sounds like he knocked it out fast and cheap on a laptop.

whoops, I only saw it from the side, but yes they did use the PH from the game but in a metallic color, not rusted red.

You'll never believe this!

So there I am chillin, just watching some 'adult entertainment', ahem, and there is this background music playing, and I couldn't work out where I knew it from. And then it came to me, it was from the SH0 soundtrack!

Just when you think you've seen it all. Oh boy!

Hey, what's the name of that song that plays right after you turn the switch to light up the lights on the catwalk? :)

Not sure, but it's damn good, and had that silent hill feel to it for sure.
