Kaufmann and Lisa doing: Drugs or Sex?

I'm pretty sure that they were having sex. Dr. Kaufman probably gave her the drugs to make her want to have sex with him. Or he gave her the drugs in exchange for sex. Either way I heard grunting and giggling....so....

Kinda funny actually. The way he grunted and all.

Or, you know, Lisa, a hormonal, excitement seeking sixteen-year-old wanted to have sex with her more experienced, attractive, mysterious, fairly-successful, bad-boy mentor. Thinking it was "exiting" or "cool". And they both used drugs to enhance the experience (most drug-addictions start with experimentation after all).

It's not that unrealistic of a scenario.

Mmmm, 16 yummy. J/K She didn't look that young to me in the game so I thought it was some sort of mistake that she was even in SHO at first. But I guess not. I ddin't really like her in SHO I thought she was slutty annoying and bitchy and I didn't think her Movie scenes even looked as good as they did in SH1

Considering that Lisa was a child when she began taking drugs suggests to me that she was enticed by curiousity and perhaps peer pressure (to an extent). After becoming addicted, there was very little she could've done to stop -- sure, it might've been possible had she had a support system, but from what I gather, she probably didn't have the best of lives anyway, with or without the drug.

As far as I know, she was 16 in 0rigins, but could've been taking drugs before this, considering that Lisa grew up in Silent Hill and attended Midwich Elementary school.

I do believe that she gave sex for drugs -- one of her many ways of "repayment" to him. I felt sorry for Lisa. Sure, she's a bit of a slut in 0rigins (not to mention she looked even older in 0rigins than in Silent Hill 1), but I honestly believe that she just fell onto the wrong side of the tracks and got mixed up in drugs almost mistakenly. I don't believe she is without blame, but I do think that she led a pretty horrible life from what is written about her.

The thing is, we have no evidence that Lisa was addicted to anything during the events of SHO. Using =/= addiction.

And I did feel sorry for her, but it is undeniable that she was selfish and that all of her misfortune was self-inflicted.

Her diary is written seven years after origins and again, using drugs=/= being addicted to drugs.

And while Kaufmann is a prick, I think heâ€™s the one who could use those drugs more... And some booze. Lisa in Origins sure is fugly. She looks like someone pasted Mel Gibsonâ€™s face on a female body

Hahahah, That remind me one of the early South Park episodes when Mr. Garrison had a surgery for have the same face than David Hassenholf...

Anyway, at least Lisa has a face in SH0, her face in SH1 was a blurry mess of polygons...

BOTH. Definitely. In my opinion Kaufman got her to do the naughties with him by using her addiction to the drugs.

But I doubt Kaufman is doing drugs himself. He seems like he knows that it isn't good for him and he rather keeps his head clear so he can take care of things with Alessa and the cult etc.

I agree. I don't think Kauffmann is the tye of man to screw about and risk blowing things with Dahlia and the cult. He's a business man and gets down to business accordingly.

Like I said before, I know we all like to think of Lisa as a helpless victim, we still don't know if she was an addict during the events of SHO, for all we know, this could be the origin of her addiction, casually using drugs to enhance the experience of sex, idea which was probably suggested by Kaufmann.

I've seen no indication that she was black-mailed, or addicted in Origins. She seems quite cheerful about meeting Kaufmann at the sanatorium, and she seems pissed at Travis for dropping in on them.

Plus, she was giggling.

Which actually makes a lot of sense... Being a qualified doctor and director of a hospital, so I guess her naivity led her onto sleep with this man. Taking into consideration the rest of your post, perhaps she literally did have a soft spot for Kauffmann at the time, which was later stumped due to her realisation that she was being used, and later blackmailed with drugs to care for Alessa.

You bring up some good points.

In my view Kauffman took the drugs to use it on Lisa, then both of'em started to have sex, but both wanted to... Kauffman only drugged her for more "fun" I believe, look at Lisa's face after Travis says "Lisa!" and she says "Ugh, Travis" or something, to me it look's like that she's "stunned" or something... it was funny tough, Travis was in the wrong place but in the right time heheh

I rather think he blackmailed Lisa. If she wouldn't sleep with him, he wouldn't provide any White Claudia for her.
When Travis disturbs them, Lisa seems ashamed. She can't even look into Travis' eyes.
