Hence the "trainee" title....there was a lot of fuckd up things going on in this town, im sure a kaufman getting some underage action wouldn't be that far off base.

Exactly, and the people of that town were far from what we call normal. So some old dude getting some underage action wouldn't be all that far from the usual in Silent hill. Hell there were probably alot of other things like this happening in the order and the cult.

I find it rather interesting that this was going on, and actually it all ties together rather nicely. I mean look at what took place in sh1.. Lisa got her revenge on Kaufman at the end of sh1.. in the Good ending. And in the intro video we see a rather angry Lisa.. pulling away from Kaufman when he tries to grab ahold of her arm. Grabbing ahold of Lisa's arm, shows that Kaufman was rather controlling of Lisa, and was trying to keep ahold of her.

also this story element makes sense, in the since that kaufman had Lisa hooked on drugs, and in order to get her drugs she probably has sexual relations with kaufman, thinking that if she did that he would always give her the drug she desired and wanted.

At least that's how I see this theory, I don't know about anyone else. And why we keep arguing this theory, after it's already been pretty obvious that this was the case if beyond me.

Oh wait, I know what it is.. we keep arguing this, because of all the petty little whiners.. want to constantly look for fault in this game.. just because it's not silent hill 2 that's it. :D

I mean don't get me wrong, I loved silent hill 2.. but to suggest that one game is better than another. Just based on the fact that each game is different than the last is futile. I mean come on, all the silent hill games have been different, I did not see one of them that was exactly like the last. Or had the same story for that matter, they're all different.. and if something is different than something else.. then how can it be better than another?

Just like People, everyone is different, different sizes shapes and colors.. but we cannot suggest that one color is better than another, or one shape is better than another. Because at the end of the day, we're all equal in the eyes of the law.. and in the eyes of whatever higher power there may be.

In conclusion, Kaufman was screwing Lisa in order to take advantage of a young trainee nurse, and to pull her into his nasty lil' scheme and the cults nasty lil' scheme to hide Alessa so they could do their little ritual on her.
The only way for evil to continue, is for good men to do nothing!!!!

That Lisa is supposed to be only sixteen in Origins did not play well, and I suspect the developers may have overlooked that detail. She plays as 20's to me.

But then, not everybody cares as much about the extra-game, ex post facto Guidebook as some around here.

Hmm.. that's indeed contradicting, though one could argue that Dahlia was performing the ritual in the basement while Alessa's body was placed in the attic. Maybe you need to perform the ritual underneath the sacrifice?

Her age is a detail from more than just "the extra-game, ex post facto Guidebook."

A trainee nurse at 16...ok, obviously Silent Hill is not in California. In California, you can not even be a trainee until the age of 18.

She as really supposed to be 16? Holy crap, she is..uh matured for her age. I have not seen a 16 year old with a body like that outside Hollywood.

Obviously she was too young to be a trainee. Did this stop the senior doctors at Alchemilla? Of course not. Scoping out young girls for "nurse training" was a thing that a enjoyed, evidence by the note in the staff lounge telling the doctors to quickly pickup the trainees when they went out drinking.

And her body is not to unrealistic compared to modern standards when girls at 14 have full sized breasts. :?

Fixed, because HOLY SHIT IT SOUNDS LIKE SHE'S BEEN SMOKING FOR 20 YEARS.

I think the idea was more taking a nurse trainee that's been there for a while and used to getting sorta raped and stuff. Not literally grab some chick, say, "Hey wanna be a nurse?" And then fuck them in your car.

You noticed her voice too, Aura.

She sounded like my grandma who has been smoking for 30 years.

And that is supposed to be the standard for the "average" 16 year old girl. I must be a slow developer because I am almost 19 and I don't have a body like that. Did they have plastic surgery back then?

How do you figure that's "supposed to be the standard"?

I was under the impression that that part of the note was a joke that subtly foreshadowed (or would if we didn't already know) Lisa's predicament with Kaufmann (as well as the dark nature of Silent Hill); not a sign that pedophilia and rape of nurses is normal activity at the hospital. Otherwise it's just a lame kick to subtlety.

To Mockingbird: I don't. I really don't think it is the "average standard" for a 16 year old. Detective Cartland stated that it was average.

I didn't say there was a "average". But its not unheard of for girls (like Lisa) that young to develop quicker than others. Its actually a image our current sick media supports.

It's not really The Media's fault that people buy into it.

You act as if The Media is just one enormous person sitting atop the world, regulating what Americans consume and absorb through television, radio and the Internet.
