It's interesting that you mention Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs.

In one of the games, you find a newspaper that reads, BILL SKINS FIFTH. This is an obvious reference to Buffalo Bill, as the game makes allusions time and time again to both real and fictitious serial killers.

Maybe it really WAS Buffalo Bill in the room, haha.
