"Underworld 4"

Post by Andrew Dustill »

There's a track in the SH: Origins soundtrack named "Underworld 4". This makes me wonder which tracks are supposed to be the prequels to this one?

You're right!
I was wondering the same thing myself.
I know that there's alot on the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack that are numbered, but I can't remember if they're called Underworld or not.

Maybe it's the track that plays when you enter the under or Otherworld for the 4th time? Or maybe it's the version of that particular track they finally settled on

Certainly, I think that the motel's Otherworld (the fourth you visit) is the creepiest of all. The hospital's bloody, and the sanitarium and theater just look like they've been abandoned for a century or two (any of you ever see "Life after People"?) And that last one kind of looks like "Waterworld" without the water. But the motel looks like a prison complex for the damned.

A lot are based off of SH1 tracks. Ex. Not Tomorrow 3 and 4.
