Regardless Travis is my favorite male character in Silent Hill

He's pretty close in my book. I haven't played SH1, so I can't say he is the best character in my opinion, until I see more of Harry in action. Only see some movies on youtube thus far.

I couldn't possibly agree any more than I do right now. :P

However, I felt the game was lacking in several key areas. Travis's story felt lame and uninspired. The dreadful atmosphere of the series wasn't present. And finally, the weapon system was just ridiculous and, often times, silly. But hey, that's just me talking!

I thought Travis was okay, but not a sex machine. That falls to Henry; he was like "...Whaaaa? I'll blast through ALL Walters' worlds without making any sense or using appropriate dialogue, YEAH!"

I agree. I didn't really think this game was OMFG AEWSOME as far as the story went, but I enjoyed actually playing it, using the weapons, and exploring the town.

Origins wasn't a bad game. I didn't really mind the breakable weapons. What confused me was the flauros puzzle. This is one of the more amusing threads I've seen in a while.

Laura was a far better man than Travis could ever hope to be.


Anyway, i don't think Origins is the best. Graphically, 3 probably was even though it wasn't next gen, and story-wise, 2 (even though that game is overrated as fuck).

Plus, Travis only looks do-able in the FMVs
