What's up with the Great Cleaver and Fire Axe?

What's up with the Great Cleaver and Fire Axe?

Sorry for the misleading title :roll: . Basically, after you beat the game once, you unlock the Moon Gauntlets. So then, what's the point for going back to get the Great Cleaver and Fire Axe if they're not as good as the Gauntlets? (I got em' all except for the Axe by the way.)

Yeah, there's no point for it but I guess to unlock the accolades.
It would make sense if it was for a Gamerscore though. Lol! But yeah, everything is pretty useless once you get the moon gauntlets. Well that and Tesla Rifle. :mrgreen:

We had that situation in every game... You still receiving weapons although the Emergency Hammer (SH), the katana (SH3) and the rusty axe (SH4) are the most powerful weapons ever...

I guess they just try to give you a bigger weapon variety...

Correct. I am asking why anyone would decide not to use the moon gauntlets 9I use the Cleaver just because it's cool and about the same strength).

Not really, lol. I prefer punching stuff some of the time... and this game is that some of the time. especially since Travis doesn't use the cleaver the way I want him to.

But getting the fire axe and cleaver also unlock the butcher and fireman costumes, which look pretty good. The Tesla Rifle rox as well, lol. Unlocking stuff is so.. Legendary.

I enjoy punching in this installment. I think it is one of the things Climax got right.
The breakable weapons got very annoying.
Now the dream of this life must end, and so, too, must the dreamers within it.

The fire axe and the cleaver... uh,yeah ! I still have to get the Butcher´s and Fireman´s costumes.

The Fireman is hard to get, because of the timing thing. :idea:
