Extra places....

Post by MistahJ »

Besides the police station or archives or whatever the hell it was, are there any other extra places you can enter?

Sorry if this has been brought up before.

Also there are alternative worlds behind the mirror on the stage, in the Artaud Theater. A blood forest and a Lovecraftian library.

How 'bout the scrapyard? I was gonna make a new thread about it 'cuz I didn't see anything, but it's a rather insignificant area (though I got real excited, since I missed it on my last two playthroughs) so I'll post it here.

So, on your way to the motel, go either all the way around, past the motel, or cut through the alley(s) to get to the scrapyard (it's on the map). It's guarded by a Caliban but has a bunch of items, including a shovel, some ammo, and a health drink.

There are lots of alleys and such in the game, but this is the only non-pink location on the map (that I can think of) that I have gained entry into.

scrapyard, lumberyard are the only extra open areas I know of.

Also greenfield apartments you need to go via that to get to the theatre. I don't think there are many other places you can go "in" but there are obviously plenty of other places to go that will get you a few more weapons and health drinks

Which reminds me: offtopic, but I'm trying to get the UFO ending and I'm already at the theatre. Is there anyway I can still get the room 502 key from the post office? Or did I totally screw up?

I think you can only grab it that one chance you get, but I MIGHT be wrong as I haven't played it for a long while now, but I'm pretty sure I recall that you only get that one chance. Maybe check some walkthroughs online just to be sure?

Deceiving in that you can't get into it, right?

OH, how I've wanted to go into that fenced/barred off room in the back!
