Is anyone else having this problem?

I decided to get my Fireman accolade on the second play through. I equipped my Lonely moon gauntlets, and rushed into the fire, but halfway through I realized I wouldn't make it out in the time limit, so I started over. When my game loaded again, I found that I could not equip the gauntlets, only examine them. Help?

That's weird, it's probably just a glitch.
Restart the game and try it.

I did that, several times. It still glitches out. But I have found that I can use the pull up menu to equip them later on in the hospital, and so I have it figured out. Thanks so much for trying to help though! :)
