Moon Gauntlet?

Post by katanamaster40 »

i remember playing silent hill origins...it was the first silent hill game i finished and the first silent hill game i played! yet i couldn't get the storyline then and the sanitarium pissed me off! so i was stuck in the sanitarium and wanted to try my brothers new game + cause he finished it once and i got to start in the beginning with the moon gauntlet with the description...blah,blah,blah crescent moon shape, blah, blah, blah, fist i mean how does the moon gauntlet make sense you get it from the brawler accolade yet why is there a crescent moon shape on it? does it represent an alien boxer? it doesn't make sense yet i finished the game and got the ufo ending...the ending is weird if you ask me...anyway what does the moon gauntlet represent?

I don't think the moon gauntlets represent anything. They're a bonus item, afterall.

Maybe the gauntlets are a reference to the Honeymooners... You know...

""... one of these days ... Pow! Right in the kisser! One of these days Alice, straight to the Moon!"

I think it's a reference to the UFO ending, though I don't see it representing anything for that matter....

I thought it had something to do with Travis being like a "lone wolf."
Doesn't one of the bonus costumes have a big-ol' airbrushed painting of a wolf on it?

What a pair of gauntlets haves to do with being alone? Sorry but you're just making it up.

I was just drawing from the gauntlet's description, as well as the description form the Savior outfit, which you unlock at the same time.

The gauntlet's say "Watched over by the lonely moon." and the outfit's description is "Sometimes I like to take my bike and ride into the night. That's when I wear these leathers."

Doesn't that sound like the stereotypical lone-wolf kinda image, James Dean and all that?
Plus the aforementioned wolf & moon on the back of his jacket :)

I never saw that before. That's. . . Interesting.

I get what you mean.

I didn't understood what you wrote at first then I apologize now. I wasn't trying to bring a fight with you, but the whole thing just felt made up.

I don't always articulate my meaning very well~
I probably should have backed up my idea in the first post, haha! :D

I thought it was an inside joke.
Carrions have huge asses.
The weapons are called Moon Gauntlets.

Even with the gauntlets on the Carrions were a pain sometime.
