I think it is endearing how bad the graphics/v.o.s are. I personally don't want it to be remade, even though I know (if they stayed completely true to the original game) that it would be fantastically better in nearly every way, I would still go back to the crappy PS version. It is like a semtamental value, it has no real value and others think it is completly worthless, but it means a lot to me.

I don't think Silent Hill is a bad game by any means. I love it to death.

I'd love it even more if the voice acting wasn't ass.

There's always going to be that nostalgic feeling that comes with the games you love, good parts and bad alike.
But when a remake comes by, trying to take what was awesome about the past game and make it better, it's not such a hot idea to try and get the bad parts to be in this new game, too.
