In this topic, let's discuss the Enemies that we'll undoubtly be running from and what you think they'll be like?
I personally think that we'll have a range of Ice themed monsters, but I hope that we get to see the Medical Staff (Including Doctors)

If there's an ice theme, there's gotta be a yeti. Even if it's just one that you have to keep running away from (like Nemesis from RE 3).

Hmm, could work out with a Yeti, Alessa could've read a book with a Yeti, like The Split Head (Or was it The Air Screamers?)

Ah thanks, forgot which one it was,
Still they could do something like a Yeti, they could make it where the Yeti destroys Houses and such in pursuit of Harry.

The yeti must be pretty damn demonic to pass in my book.

This is Silent Hill, it'll most likely look pretty twisted.

They could easily make the yeti demonic somehow. Make him uglier and nastier-looking than your average yeti.

Yeah, and make the camera angles good when he chases you. Something like the giant avalanche in Sonic Adventure 2.

Guess I'm the only one who's not a big fan of having monsters with the same theme as the otherworld that will be portrayed in this game. The monsters in the original game and Silent Hill 2 didn't exactly share the same theme with the otherworld then. It will make the monsters a little too predictable.

Just hoping they don't introduce demonic versions of polar bears, penguins, or *shutter* Santa Claus and his reindeers.

I imagine we'll be seeing some revised versions of the old monsters.

As long as the Puppet Nurses and the Grey Children are in it I will be happy.

I'm thinking, since most of the creatures in these games are "fleshy," we'll see things with a fair amount of "blubber," possibly like the Insane Cancers of SH3. There are also wraith-like creatures associated with the cold, and things like Wendigos, which have had a number of visual interpretations. So, I think there may be fat things, possibly with malformed tusks or other bony extrusions, and gaunt screaming things, among other creatures.

I personally could do without ever seeing another nurse. I'm tired of them being an SH staple.

I agree. I'm pretty tired of the nurses as well, and I've only played half of the SH games. Put something new in. Like a yeti (have I mentioned the yeti sufficiently?).

Yes you have, I disagree though
The Slutty nurses are the staple for some reason, I say put the Parasite infested Medical staff back in!

a yeti?? hmmm... i can kinda see that, but it would have to be one EVIL looking yeti with a purpose. looks wise, it would have to be massive in the chest and shoulders, with its back coming up higher thatn its head, so it has trouble with turning its head and locating you if you are running away. but it would really be a stretch.

It would be interesting to see if they would do a deformed snow leopard like they have done with the dogs. going with the whole icy hell of the game that is.
