Wii's are pretty damn cool. I absolutely LOVE the idea of using the Wiimote as a cellphone. That is totally kickass.

Since I already own a Wii I don't need to compromise with a PS2 or PSP version of the game. That's really how I see other versions of the game; just a compromise for people without a Wii, or people that can't stand motion-controls.

Pretty much everything in this game was designed with the Wii in mind. I can't think of a single good reason why I should get it for any other console due to this.

I'll probably get it for the PS2 since I don't have a Wii. I couldn't stand Origins on the PSP... PSP's just hurt my hands. I'd love to try it for the Wii though, but y'know. The whole lack of having a Wii kind of gets in the way.

I own a Wii (and it needs games) and this game was conceived for the Wii. It's like a rhetorical question, to me. :)

You obviously didn't play Metroid Prime 3 then.

Well, considering Gamecube has better graphics than PS2...

According to the actual specs, yes, the Gamecube is shockingly faster than the PS2 and has a greater capacity for graphics, but that's all down to style, developer programming, etc, etc...The game that best used the engine was RE4, but if you compare the Wii verison and the Gamecube one, they look almost exactly the same. :/ The only problem with GC were the mini-discs. They were the failing point of the console as they can't hold enough data therefore, the games couldn't hold as many bits and textures as the PS2 discs.

Yes, well. Anyway, I like my Wii and chances are, I'll get Shattered Memories on for it, but I'm just glad I got it second-hand off my cousin. I don't think I could justify £130 for what is basically a Gamecube with a fiddly motion stick. e_e'

Gamecube had much crisper, smoother looking graphics (though it did have it's graphical downfalls as well). The Metroid Prime games really showed off what it could do, as did, like you said, RE4.
Wii really does look better than GameCube, but some developers don't seem to know that. It's like they get a Wii game on their hands and they just totally forget about graphics. Some games have great graphics though.
This game's graphics don't look as good as, say, Silent Hill 3, but they still look pretty decent.

I think you hit on the nosie. Developers think pretty much only about the wii-mote functions and all other stuff is padded on. And, unfortunately, the Wii attracts gimmicky one-off games and you have to wade through a lot of bad games to get to the good ones.

And there are very few good ones to be found... This is quite unfortunate because the Wii, graphically and otherwise, has a LOT of potential. Just look at Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3; Graphically, those games were beautiful, and gameplay-wise they were exceptional. They knew when to use the Wiimote and when not to, which is a great thing. Like I've said before, you can do Wii right, or you can do it wrong. It looks to me as if Climax is doing it right.

Yeah. From, what I can see, the game looks pretty good. I thought the opening wtth Dr. K looked pretty well done. You can't really tell at some points in terms of the monsters, though. I think they're saving what they really look for later. :U

Have you read the damn interview? Don't make any statements until you have done, so, because unless you have, all of your derogatory comments are baseless.

I'll get it for the Wii, maybe the Ps2 or PSP but only for my own amusement.

It's going to be PS2 for me. Maybe in the future I'll get a Wii, but there really isn't any games I want for it, save for Shattered Memories. Maybe if they port Arcade to it, that'd probably seal it for me.
