Ten years after the original game and Harry's still searching for his daughter.

Well I really prefer PAL cover for Silent Hill 4 - everything is obscure and creepy, unnerving and you can make even SH3 staple - bunny - out in that white noise in PAL boxart :D

I've always liked all of the boxarts for the American editions of silent hill, sans 4. The only time I was completely jealous of one was when I first saw the Japanese version of SH 2. I love that box art. I even considered ordering it just to have it, but I never did.

I think it looks kinda...I don't know, cheesy?
I saw it awhile back when I was looking around on Amazon and figured it was just for the time being and not the official box art.
If it is it really doesn't matter to me, but I think it's the worst out of all the American Silent Hill covers.

I really like the PAL one though.

Yeah, the box art creeps me out but I dislike how overt it is and that it lacks even a shred of subtlety. Doesn't exactly give me high hopes for the game itself...

I kinda hope the PAL release gets a different cover. ^^; If that's already been released may someone point me in the direction of a link to view it? Thank you~

Ah~ Thanks! You're awesome. 8D

Predictably, I think I prefer the PAL release box art; it's mysterious and keeps with the ice theme, though not as well as I had hoped it would. However, I have a feeling that this box art and that of the North American release will grow on me. XD

Hey!

Awhile back I posted the "PAL" Boaxart, and the topic exploded into hatered for the NA Art, and praise for the PAL art OR just a realization of the PAL's "fake-ness"

Well.......to the fans of the PAL art, get ready to be disapointed to see the updated (or finally offical) PAL Baxart:

Frankly, I like the little "Redish-Blur"â„¢ around Cheryl, but thats just me...
Have you seen a little girl? Short, black hair? About seven years old? A Bastard Child? May or may not be the Mother of God/Satan?.........Shes my Daughter.

Yes. :)

No. :(

South America uses the NTSC as their(our) main system for everything, from TVs to Blue-ray Players and etc. The console/game(s) sold here are American NTSC. PAL is only via import.

[spoiler]Harry's name isn't Harry. Harry is just a nickname. His name is Harrold.
James' actual occupation is clerk.
Heather smoked until the age of 17.
EDIT - INFLAMATORY - T.
Travis is virgin.
Alex's a uninteresting character.

The bushes in the original SMB are also the clouds.

I'm kind of fond of this boxart. I know it isn't the best, but it's at least better than Silent Hill 4 American box art and all the Silent Hill Homecoming box arts. *edited*

I agree. I saw it at Gamestop last night and wanted to steal the pre-order box just so I can claim I had it...now I'm just sad.

New Pal boxart is something in between the first Pal and the American
Find this one better than American, but not as good as original

Final box art, huh? Maybe that's a good sign that the game might actually come out some day! But seriously it's a sign of progress there.

All that's different is the red haze thingy and the lack of E3 awards. It's not really significantly different from the NTSC edition, not much better or worse.

The Japanese Boxart is noticably darker, probably also a result of Nintendo using black Wii cases to identify mature titles.
