I think I'll be getting it in 2 maybe 4 days after the release date, like I did with SH:O and SH:H. Well it's just a few days away anyway.

Uh oh, corrupted memory cards are not good.

Anyway, I'm taking a guess that mine will be here by the end of the week. My friends and I are even setting up a Silent Hill party on the weekend. Haha.

I picked up my copy last night, and enjoyed the first hour or two of the game. I wanted to play all night, but alas had class this morning quite early and a lot of unfinished homework I put on hold to play.

I must say, they did an excellent job of keeping interactivity in this version, despite the lack of motion controls. The chase sequences are absolutely breathtaking. I was caught up to a couple of times, and was barely alive (blurry vision, screen distortion) and barely made it out with my life. Epic stuff, really revitalized the scare factor for me, and I applaud them for that.

Overall I'm really digging the presentation, I love how they use the winter storm as a boundry instead of random cliff edges in the middle of the street. Restores some normalcy to the game, and although a lot of you might think that's a bad thing, I think it adds to unpredictablility the game has when things change on you.

Also, the psyche profile thing is so cool. Didn't know how I'd like it, but so far I've found it very involving and interesting.

Overall a great version, the PS2 build doesn't disappoint.

I picked up my copy yesterday. I've only gotten to play up to the diner/bar area. I'm having a heck of a time getting used to the motion controls, but I'll get them eventually.

I'd love to play it more, but school is absolutely and thoroughly kicking my ass.

Once I get things more organized I can sit down and actually *play* it.
