Easter Eggs :D

Post by QuestionSleepZz »

What Easter Eggs have you noticed during your playthrough?

The only two I can think of are

1. The poster for the camera obscura in the begining of the game.

2. You can call the Konami customer service

Is ther any more you know of? :)

there are a bunch of jokes on the issue of memory all over the game.

from the top of my head, there's a poster for a computer game in the electronic store featuring a woman with a gun featuring a tagline: "MEMENTO- She never forgot"

The binary code on the cash register.

In the mall there's a cash register, and the price displayed is something like 0101. If you examine it Harry says, "Binary code?"

Not sure of its significance.

^You're missing the Rush 'N Attack one.

Well... I don't know if there are others... there are some Easter Eggs referencing other Silent Hill games but there is already a thread for that...

Maybe in my next playthrough I will explore more and find something...

The camera store is called Photographic Memory. The Hidden Fire memento is the same brand of cigarettes Travis smokes.

The scene where Harry touches the toucan stuffed animal in the pawn shop kind of remind me of when James Sunderland randomly pets the bear in SH2.

Well, that wasn't random. I always figured James was remembering what small scraps he did know about Laura and was a bit confused to find the teddy bear there.
I'm not dead yet, dammit.

There was a picture of a cat in the dress store with a red X over its face. Possibly Locker Cat?

One of the (tiny) pieces of graffiti is of an alien. I thought it was neat; it was obviously a reference to the UFO ending.

I was a little disappointed though that they repeat the graffiti in the game. Saw the alien a few times.

Hmm, I think it's the tunnel leading either into or out of the sewers. I remember there being a few beer bottles around on the floor, as if someone was hanging around.

BUT I can't be certain. I will be doing another play through soon, I'll make sure to take a picture of it.

I'm aware of her site, I thought it was references to other Silent Hill's. I intended this to be a thread about the little Easter Eggs in the game, besides the references to past instalments.

^ I see that all over Youtube! People coming up with theories for why there's a Triforce there. Quite funny :)
