Haha yes... Though I do love that game, like, both parts, I just thought it was lame having to be thrown back and forward between the two rather than playing what you feel like... Check out my 'Underrated Games' topic!Roorii wrote:I guess you could say it's the Sonic Unleashed of the Silent Hill franchise, will the "Werehog" just fuck off so I can get back to the daytime stages please?
Anybody else incredibly frustrated?

I didn't find the game frustrating at all I found it the easiest and least scariest silent hill of them all. I didn't die once during my first playthrough. As long as you throw off the enemies as soon as they jump you it's no big deal, also use your GPS in the nightmare world when needed and make good use of the flares. Easy game but very fun.
If it wasn't for the chase scenes the game would be tolerable. I don't mind chase scenes such as the ones in call of cthulu and blackplague, but when the puzzles in shsm were pitiful and insulting its hard to find something about the gameplay mechanics that made the game memorable. The flashlight was nice.
Played it a bit at a friend, because hes got a wii and that game.
Made it up to a puzzle where you have to switch around some swans and stuff. Then after 45 minutes, I quite the game HORRIBLE controls. Those darn swans just wont turn right.
I even thought it was me that was something wrong with, so a friend of mine tried that part as well. Coundt get it right either.
Regarding the game. Not that much fun. Has its moments, but its more like a point and click adventure then horror.
It freezes over, and you run and fumble with the horrible controls. Not to mention all the trial and error gameplay of running.
Kudos for them trying something new, but this isnt silent hill. Or rather, this isnt that much fun to play

Horrible controls? My god-what system are you on? Get the sensor bar away from the Wii Remote and the controls will be fluid. I can't believe you're complaining about the controls when they're perfectly simple. But then again, you're not used to the Wii, so I'm not 100% sure on what I'm saying-mimic- wrote:Played it a bit at a friend, because hes got a wii and that game.

The puzzle isn't even that hard. Just move the swans to the picture as shown. Very simple, did you read the numbers that turned out? Sometimes the '6' looks like a 2 or an 8 if you don't put them in the right order.
