Voice actors
I have a knack for recognizing voice actor's voices. So when I play a game and I hear someone I'm certain I know, I really like to double check the cast list to see if I'm right. Here's the thing: there's no complete cast list I can find anywhere.
I've so far gotten some of the main cast:
Harry Mason: Timothy Eulich
Dahlia: Laura Bailey (also voiced Lust in FMA and Chun Li in Street Fighter IV)
John: Yuri Lowenthal (also voiced The Prince in Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands and Yosuke Hanamura in Persona 4)
Dr. Kaufmann: Michael McConnohie (also voiced D in Vampire Hunter D and Seth in Street Fighter IV)
Lisa Garland: Karen Strassman (also voiced Nanako Dojima in Persona 4 and Miyuki Takara in Lucky Star)
James Sunderland: Tomm Hulett
Additional voices: Mona Marshall
...And that's it. No Cheryl, no Michelle, no Cybil. No idea if James in the UFO ending was actually Guy Cihi reprising his role. [EDIT]He didn't.
Does anybody know where I can find a full list, or did anybody else recognize voices?

Re: Voice actors
I still wonder why the actors were not credited.
There was a voice that my sister recognized. He does the voice of the Weather Service announcement that you can here if you call the number 555-7659 in the game. I think he also does the voice acting for the the phone calls of all the "Daddy's Girl" voice messages and the "Lost Pet" voice messages. His name is Liam O'Brein. I don't know what the technical name of the character is IN the show, but yeah... that guy did at lest some of the game's V.O. work.

Re: Voice actors
Good catch on her part! Actually, that reminds me of another voice I recognized: the Pumping Station entrance/exit by Orion Lodge. Take a photo of the hands griping the bars, you get a message from a boy sounding VERY, VERY much like Mona Marshall. If you scroll down to "echo photo #2" on this page (thanks Whitney!) and listen to the clips, you can hear the messages for yourself.
Seriously, this is driving me crazy- I'm convinced it's her.

Re: Voice actors
^Might be. If there a Wiki for her? That wiki I gave says he is credited in SM. Maybe her Wiki will too.

Ah, that's why I hate john so much! He was daedelus in ergo proxy!
Also, if I remember correctly, I believe Whitney posted an interview with Tomm Hulett where he said he did the voice of in the ufo ending.

^ I was so hoping it was Guy... Dash my hopes, why don't you.
I usually trust IMDB over Wiki, but that would be worth a check. Danke.

Re: Voice actors
De nada.
I am a little sad that it is not Guy either. I thought it may have been. Wonder why he wasn't asked to do it, as a cameo? Or maybe he was asked and didn't want to. That would be sad.

Re: Voice actors
I'm sure part of it was just not wanting to spend so much money for such a small role, and I bet Tomm was more than happy to try his hand at it. I know I would have been, haha!
Re: Voice actors
Forget Lust and Chun Li, Laura Bailey was Bloodrayne!

Re: Voice actors
Cheryl was Heather's VA from 3, reprising her role as Harry's Daughter.
Yuri didn't do the prince in Forgotten Sands, at least not to my knowledge. He did voice the Prince in Sands of Time and Two Thrones though.

Ha I didn't know the person who voices Sheila on South Park would be in a Silent Hill game, it seems so random haha.

Re: Voice actors
See Wikis are good for something... occasionally. Keep going like this and you'll have the entire cast of characters all figured out.

Re: Voice actors
I'm not sure, but it's possible that it's for the same reason that Persona 4's weren't credited: non-union work.Harrys_Girl wrote:I still wonder why the actors were not credited.
Re: Voice actors
They really do deserve credit. The voice acting in this game was phenomenal in my opinion. Coupled with the superb character models and facial expressions and animation it was one of those things where it's not like you're listening to a voice actor but rather that character's own voice, ya know?

Re: Voice actors
Who would have guessed that the guy who voiced Barry Burton in REmake would deliver a great performance in Shattered Memories?

Re: Voice actors
^I'd think it had less to do with the actors and more to do with the voice director in that game, seeing as "hammy, stupid and entirely innapropriate" seems to be the tone for all the actors there.
