Re: Did anyone else think (about Lisa and the pills) [spoile
Claudia B1 is clearly a prescription drug. So, given Lisa's previous incarnation, we can probably deduce Lisa from SILENT HILL: SHATTERED MEMORIES is addicted to prescription pain killers, called Claudia B1.

. . . AND THAT'S THAT.

Or that she would have taken the pills as a sort of hallucinogenic pain-reliever (though not addicted), hoping to ease her headache and have some crazy fun time with Harry, if the illegal drug properties of the original White Claudia were kept in Shattered Memories. Another nod to Kaufmann/Lisa, but this time Harry/Lisa--appeasing all the fanfiction writers of the SH universe and hopefully expanding to a Shattered Memories #2 dealing with Lisa's death and how Harry just can't accept the fact that he did it with a dead corpse.
Then again, I could be stretching it too far.

^A plot line that would become even weirder when you take into account that Harry

Guys, Lisa was not hoping to get high and have a good time. She took something she thought would help her pain and decided to sleep it off. It was extremely stupid, but there was no ulterior motive aside from "Hope my head stops bleeding."
@Stopped_Clock: Same goes for everyone Harry meets.

I think teosoleil was joking.
Regarding the drugs themselves, I think it might be worth noting that all four jars have the same label. Perhaps, a little reinforcement that all of them will have the same effect in the end?

Never noticed that. The big stress in that task was color. Maybe the focus on color could be seen as Cheryl's several thoughts on how she could have approached her father's death. However, no matter how she approaches it, the "label" for each color is equal, and each pill will lead to death, again, and again, and again...alone in the town wrote: Regarding the drugs themselves, I think it might be worth noting that all four jars have the same label. Then maybe I took something simple and made it worse by thinking too much.

I think that's a good way of thinking about it. No matter what, by the end of the game she's forced to confront the fact that he's dead; in some playthroughs, she keeps her delusion, but she always has to at least hear the fact that he's gone.wonder's boy wrote:Never noticed that. And don't mention Seinfeld like that. People who does not know the show will think he is some kind of mind fucked rapist and sadist.born2kill wrote:it happens. did you never see the seinfeld episode where jerry drugs his gf to play with her toy collection?AuraTwilight wrote:Holy shit, who the hell goes from "get me some medicine" to "date rape"?

Uh...people will have their own (extremely incorrect) opinions, come on.NemesisFY wrote:And don't mention Seinfeld like that. People who does not know the show will think he is some kind of mind fucked rapist and sadist.
Most likely. I don't think the labels were meant as a huge contribution to the story and Lisa's death. That's an extremely good way of looking at it, though.wonder's boy wrote:Never noticed that. This is true. If you listen to the conversation Lisa has with Harry during the walk to her apartment, she mentions about the pills and how she hardly gets any sleep.
She was taking them to sleep.

^ Moreover, she was a full time nurse. She worked her ass off all day and probably dedicated her life to work, as she states that it's a very engaging job:
" - You cold? - I'm too tired to feel it. You know, the average ER nurse gets less than five hours a sleep at night?"
"Nurses are on her feet all day, and night."
It's normal that she's used to have a tough day. Sure she's all stressed out and can't get sleep at night. Furthermore, as a stronger character- a nurse, she does what she has to to keep going forward (which is also the thing that destroyed her):
"Self medication- the one true perk of the health care profession. It's not just coffee that keeps us going 24/7."
