Funny. I was about to create a thread that begged the following: "What if SH6 turns to be a First Person Shooter?"

I haven't played the arcade game, so I don't have the info needed to make a judgment.

Personally, I think I would have mixed feelings about SH6 being an FPS. While I do like them, SH is not meant be a series with fast-paced action.

Hell, I liked the arcade game, especially the UFO ending (The best one IMO) And I wouldn't mind a port for it, but not for £40. But only if it come's with the guns. :mrgreen:

And two little girls being kidnapped by a captain of a cruise ship that's actually a space shuttle, and the protagonists get into their own rocket and follow after him during the credits in an 8-bit, Arcade-style side-scrolling shooter.

Huh? Oh, no, I wasn't making a joke or anything. THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS. Look it up on Youtube, that's seriously the UFO ending.

Robbie is playing Konami's Gradius.

For what it's worth, that UFO ending is pretty damn funny.

Yea, it's pretty much second only to Shattered Memories.

@OP
They...Said this SH would be 'action packed'?
Eugh, that sounds too much like turning it into Resi/ dumbing this down to "Rargh ragh shooty shoot violenting ya!" for my paranoid little mind to let slide without getting worried.

Was Arcade a good rail gun shooter? If it was, I wouldn't mind a Wii port, though not as Silent 6 obviously, :lol:

I don't remember reading anything about them saying it would be action packed. I don't remember them saying ANYTHING about it at all. Source, please?

I think liquidus118 got the idea it would be action-packed from were it states that the company wishes to release action packed games in the future, but it didn't specifically state Silent Hill though.

"We take game development very seriously as anyone should who specializes in high-end, next generation action games"

Oh, we're jumping to conclusions without any info this time? I figured we would at least wait until we get some screenshots before we go for Round Three of "THIS IS THE WORST SILENT HILL EVER THEY GOT IT ALL WRONG".

I just watched the UFO ending to the arcade version. Only the Japanese could come up with something like that.

You'd think so, but you'd be wrong.
