Murphy's uniform is definitely better looking than this new "street cltohes" look he's sporting.

The environments look pretty hit and miss in spots. There's some good looking portions, but some of those textures look way too flat. (hurr, it's skinned, of course) I'm just saying, it looks less than stellar in places, but some look really great.


Nice to get some more concept art with this batch as well. : )

yeah, i noticed how flat some things were (those tiles really stick out) however im hoping that once the game is in motion, it won't really be as noticeable.

as far as the outfits, i think the street clothes look fine, but i defintely prefer the prison uniform.

Two of those pics are just concept art (sorry if I'm pointing out the obvious, just didn't know if you realized). Specifically the two people looking out over the chasm and Murphy looking at the big fence with the spikes at the top.

I'm thinking pics 2 and 8 are possibly from the subway.

I love the pics but I see that you can see too much... I kinda miss the complete dark areas where you just could see a couple of steps before you; I gues I'm just being nitpicky, those areas look great and full with details...

I'm still worried about a lot of aspects of this game, yet I have no complaints at all about those environment designs, they look great. That concept art is surprisingly kickass as well. The fog seems to allow you to see a bit farther than I might like, but I guess they really wanted to show off the game world and I kinda can't blame them. Also, I really hope there'll be scenes like pic #4 with huge crevices in the land, it reminds me of SH1 in an awesome way.

Yeah this is my biggest concern as well. The original team spoke of how important it was to limit the player's vision in order to instill fear of the unknown and unseen, and I think part of the reason Sh4 didn't quite cut it was that you could see too far.

Well, there was one in the demo. Seems likely that there'll be more, even if we haven't seen any in screenshots yet.
