Tear out and mail it to me, please :) hehe

I don't step anywhere near the comics. I bought about 5 in the past, and I thought they were all deadly horrible T_T It was fun looking at the pictures though :P

I knew they were releasing the trade version soon, but I didn't know it was out already. For me, Past Life surpasses all the other attempts at SH comics. Very well constructed story and the art is amazing. As for the Downpour ad, it's looking good. Can anyone read what it says on the right side? "He has to..." what?

^ Thanks. So we definitely have another "protagonist revisited by past sins" story. It could even be Jebediah's sins Murphy has to pay for if reincarnation is involved. Just speculation, of course, but that would be interesting.

^ It's nice to see some kind of "commitment" from Konami regarding on the release date though.

I hope it gets a similar release date over here, tired of avoiding spoilers for months everytime a SH game comes out

Yeah! The one with all of them in it! It's out?! Sweet! Will get and finally read! I hear good things but I didn't want to spoil myself until I've read it...

Fall timing for game is likely September at the earliest, though I'd say it's October, times with Halloween, and just before the November/December games onslaught.

Oh, the trade collection's out?

Good, I can actually buy it and not lose/ruin it. :) Well, someday... I'm still extremely apathetic towards comic books.

Why is it that I get this strange vibe that Murphy is Jebediah reincarnated? He has to pay? Prisoner in a future life? Encountering Howard Blackwood yet again? I understand that Howard is indeed a confirmed character returning for a future spirit/Maria-like entity (judging how Howard mysteriously vanishes like a ghost from his first appearance with Murphy), but I'm starting to believe that Jebediah is coming back....

They've become as excellent a story-telling medium as any book, game or movie, and Past Lives blows that last fucking comic "Silent Hill: Omnibus" WAAAAAAY the fuck outta the water. That was barely primordial pondscum compared to this. This is fucking wonderful storytelling at it's best in the SH line, and it's not especially expensive. I assure you, it's well worth the purchase.

^Heh... anyone else notice Helene's "boob key"...? I'm with you: there may be a blood/guilt relation somehow that's either been cycling through the ages/games, or this is a particular case of bloodlines returned that stirs up the silenced spirits. Either way, I'm so much more psyched than ever for Downpour after reading Past Lives. What a lovely fucking lead-in for the new game.

Even the name "Past Life" smacks of reincarnation to me. And, as has been mentioned, the appearance of Howard Blackwood in the game is another dead giveaway. So, "He has to pay..." for
