I really hope the whole Murphy and the female cop doesn't do a whole Silent Hill movie ordeal, where she later finds him, arrests them, something hinders their progress, and they must work together. That may would have been cool if the movie hadn't happened, but...well, it did. But it also just gives me too much of the first game's vibe with Harry and Cybil, as well.

It should be a really lame romantic subplot actually, everyone loves those right?

I really doubt that's going to happen. There has been zero indication thus far, and I don't really see Murphy and her working together either.

I can see them temorarily helping each other out, but for the rest of the time, they're basically Gerad and Kimble :p

I have to throw my cards in with the people who think that Cunningham is a sister or childhood friend. She is treated as really important in these trailers, and she has the same phenotype as the little girl, just like Murphy matches up to the boy, who has already has evidence to be himself as a child.

^That would be kind of interesting. I'd like to hear that it's just not going to follow some of the same relationships as previous Silent Hill titles had.

^ Then we could use the red orbs obtained from that to power up Murphy's axe attacks! I like this game better already!

Then why post at all? and a remake of SH2 similar to SH SM in a similar setting would be amazing, playing through James' delusions and having a psychologist ask us questions and realizing at the end the whole experience he had was a false memory, (similar to Shutter Island,) or it was true and we play as him escaping the mental hospital afterwhich, and hitching a ride with a woman who looks like Maria that drives him into the fog.

I love the Silent Hill Series. The games: Homecoming, Origins, and Shattered Memories, did nothing wrong whatsoever, they were developed well, and did things different. Just because they were not by Team Silent doesn't mean that they're bad games. I believe in this series. I believe that one day, we can have a game that will make all Silent Hill fans Happy. I believe that Silent Hill Downpour can achieve this.
Team Silent may be gone, but their series isn't. Instead... it's here, it's alive.

If you agree, add it to your sig.

I do too, I think that ultimately playing it will be the only way to know how it will make me feel.

Such a simple concept, yet something way over so many peoples heads.

I may be the only one... But I like Homecoming >.>... And I am definitely ready for downpour. I like the new weapon system. Pick up whatever you see and use it to crack something over the head. And I am also looking forward to the new system of opening doors. Get a weapon and break it open. That looks really well thought out.
