Person in the otherworld cage?

Post by Redtrinity »

PRIME_BBCODE_SPOILER_SHOW PRIME_BBCODE_SPOILER:
So I have played Downpour twice through, and STILL can't identify the other person in the cage during Murphy's Centennial building Otherworld visit. You know the part when he is travelling forward in his mobile cage, sees another pass in front of his at the intersection with someone in it, and comments "Wait! Was that...? Couldn't be."

Anyone with a bigger/brighter TV than mine able to shed some light? I figure its probably Napier, or even a representation of that corrupt security guard (can't remember his name at the moment) or someone along those lines....

Ohhh I see. Just another one of those mind screwing moments, then! ;) I actually considered the concept of it being an easter egg at one stage, that the person in the cage was James or Harry, or something :D

Yeah, it definitely looks like Murphy. It probably symbolizes how Murphy is a prisoner to his revenge, and it's kept him from being free from his past.

I was kind of disappointed when the cage OUR Murphy was in didn't loop back around and see his past self. That'd of been fucking awesome.

I second this; I was expecting it, honestly.

I thought it was cool to see Murphy in a cage because in that level it almost looks like a prison and you can even see other people in cells resembling the prison you visit later on.
