In certain parts of the building (and indeed in other parts of the game) when Murphy walks into certain rooms he slows down incredibly, from running to walking. I've had this when Murphy's gone into a room before but there's been some significance, like an item to pick up.
Is it normal or is this what the patch is hoping to fix?

It does that when there's a fixed camera angle...
LOL at this being something the patch would 'fix'.
I think it's just so people aren't awkwardly running around in rooms with fixed angles - walking through those rooms feels more cinematic/immersive and less 'videogamey', though the option to run would have been welcome too I guess. I dunno, could be wrong but that's what I assumed the reasoning behind it was.
