I hate to have to butcher something, but would that model be Harry's, by chance? Not say, "Ohh, that's Harry's body in the hospital, it must mean something!", but I would think you don't have to worry about getting his picture in the cutscene anymore.

It looks a bit like him to me, the jacket and slacks, but I don't remember much else from the cutscene.

Anyways, nice work (to both of you), I love these kind of things.

You can take them with the ps2 version too, but you need a video card. i only recently got the pc versions. you can just hit 'print screen' but I use fraps so i can hit f10 to take a screenshot.

I'm using the hotkey function of the ATI Tray Tools. You have to set the button for screenshots manually, and it'll only work while playing a fullscreen game, though. I like it because I set it to numpad plus, close to the keys used for the camhack, and I've set it to save the screenshots as good quality .jpg's. :D

Fraps is best when it comes to SS from games. You can choose in which format you want'em as well as bind a hotkey not to mention recording

A few shots of looking outside the wall, the mirrored storage room with the bloody walls coming through the reflection, the side of the head of the guy strung up to be bled (looks like it got crushed), Valtiel trapped in a locker (and then Heather stabbing him :3), closeup of the face of the guy in the rocking chair from the haunted house, and Vincent and Douglas looking funny.

The camhack thing I'm using can't move up and down, sadly. Just in compass directions. It has up and down buttons but the camera is locked into whatever current height it's at and refuses to change.

Which one are you using? I was using shfly and the camera will go up and down, but you have to check to freeze the camera. I haven't tried other ones yet.

"3dhacksh3-keypad". It uses some program called 'TSearch" to hack the SH3 exe and change it's functions... or something. I dunno. There's two versions of it, maybe the other one works better, I should try it out....
These are from the "Sh3stuff" files you linked me to early in the thread.
there are some other TSearch hacks in here, too. I guess I could give those a try as well. *Shrug* Setting up this program is complicated... :P

Edit: After experimenting with the other two available, I couldn't get any satisfactory performance out of them. I had to move the camera by manually entering hex co-ordinates, and the camera kept jumping to try and return to it's rightful possition, making the screen jitter. I could move the camera up and down, but not change it's direction, making that almost useless. These might come in handy for some rare special shots, but overall the one I was using, that uses the numpad to move the camera ingame but can't move up and down, was the best of the lot.

Aha! I was looking back over those links to programs from the first page, and downloaded Silent Fly, and that works beautifully. Don't need that complicated Tsearch program either, and don't enter the numbers in hex. :D No ingame controls, but that's excusable (as is the gibberish readme, as I figured out how to work it well enough).
Here are some pics I took over the last ten minutes of experimentation:

I tried to get the images you wanted of the hospital maze, but the darkness and view distance of the Silent Hill engine proved to be a roadblock. Actually plaything through at that height is more interesting; I might attempt to make a Gamecam video later (I seriously doubt I could get anything of quality FPS using FRAPs with Silent Hill.... >_>)

cool. i like silentfly took some getting used to though. but i like that you can make the camera move up and down and push characters into places they shouldn't go.

The character movement part gets grayed out when I set it on SH3 mode. :| I can only move the camera.

Why would you think it's Pyramid Head, since he has nothing to do with the game? It's Valtiel.

Oddly enough, I'm aware PH has nothing to do with SH3. Which is why I used the prefix "Stupid question". It just looks a lot like PH to me. Thought it might be a very early promotional poster or something.
