Harry in the hospital?

Heather finds out why it's true that you shouldn't talk to strangers. Or look in mirrors, quite honestly.

Harry in the hospital?

Post by Aamon »

Not sure if this has been posted already... Sorry if it has, I'm new to these forums.

Anyway, is it just me or does the corpse suspended over the bucket in the hospital look exactly like Harry? I swear it's wearing the exact same clothes as him.

Any thoughts...?

Considering he's dead on the bed back in Heather's apartment, that'd be quite an accomplishment.
I'm not dead yet, dammit.

But Heather is in the otherworld, could it be one of those things like the corpse in front of the tv in SH2 being 'another' James?

If that makes sense... :?

Hmmm. No, it makes sense--and I really need to start using these emoticon smileys to convey when I'm joking... meep--but I think that when Heather finds his "diary" entries (and goes back to his bedroom in the Church only to find smears of blood on the floor as if he were walking or, er, crawling away) is sort of enough, you know? Plus I think it's far too easy to say that any not clearly seen figure in a dark jacket + jeans = Harry.
I'm not dead yet, dammit.

I doubt it. I have to agree with Krist. about the smears of blood part.

I didn't say it was Harry... I just said it looked like him, like how otherworld is created from each persons fears or whatever...

Yeah which is why I said, "Plus I think it's far too easy to say that any not clearly seen figure in a dark jacket + jeans = Harry."

Always thought it was that same guy that lies dead in that room in the normal world.
Some guy in the hospital who was killed by Leonard and is shown in the dark world to be or have been a sacrifice of some kind.
It's his blood you use at that altar in the hospital and his being killed by Leonard is hinted at in some writings in the game I think.

The hanging person is in the same location as the guy with the tattoo on his arm. The tattoo on that guy's arm leads to a photocamera which leads to a door code in the basement which opens a door somewhere. The door code in the basement was probably written by the guy who got shot in the hall with the elevator and wheelchair... Everything in that hospital seems connected.

So, no idea who the dead guy is but it's not Harry.
Does look like him indeed, then it'd be Heather reliving her recent tragedy.

Can't it just be one of the various corpses that are generated that were never alive?

Why do people always speculate about corpses being characters from the game?

Is Angela the first corpse in the mall in SH3 that's being eaten by a Closer?
Is Claudia the corpse that Walter digs in with his hands in the hospital in SH4?

No! They're all game models, just being there to freak you out and make you fear for being the next victim.

I'll admit when I first saw it I thought the SH3 corpse looked like Angela... But the SH4 corpse looking like Claudia? What the?

Going with the theory that Silent Hill is like a blob of collective unconscious and with all the echoing memories of the past around town, you can always find any explanation for dead people looking familiar or having the same models as characters from the previous games...

LOL! That corpse could look like anyone... except for Harry lol omg. Why does everyone think that they 'know' the corpses in the games? That would kill the games a bit I think

Yeah I now think it looks like Henry, Harry, and a Spitter all rolled into one.
:?

And I thought we already came to the conclusion that it isn't the corpse of any character, it just resembles them

If it was Harry, Heather would've commented on the resemblance.

Whoa, I just realized that the corpse has no head. But it does look more like James' character model.
