That's why suggesting it's Laura is such an outrageous claim.

No... just no. It's an outlandish claim that has absolutely no supporting information from any part of any game thus far.

Then read the rest of the thread. In particular all the parts where people logically point out it cannot possibly be her.

This thread makes me weep.

For 4 pages it has been argued over and over that there's no way it could be Laura... and people still cling to the notion it is. The horrible thing is, the topic could be a valid question, even though it really doesn't matter, not to mention there's no real way of knowing who she is either, outside of pure speculation.

L.S. could be Lilian Shepherd from Silent Hill Homecoming..

I feel that is highly unlikely. Homecoming wasn't exactly on anyone's mind yet, at the time of SH3's release.

But it is still a possibility.
Silent Hill 4 wasn't really in anyone's mind yet when Silent Hill 2 mentions Walter Sullivan in the memo found in the trash chute.

I somehow doubt that they anticipated Walter being a fixture in a latter game when that was written. It was most likely a bit of content they thought would be fun to take liberties with while designing SH4.

Considering how secretive Team Silent operates (operated), I really wouldn't be surprised if they had an idea for SH4 during the time they created SH2.
Although my theory on who L.S. is maybe a little more far fetched, it can still be plausible because developers usually have many different ideas at one time.

You are probably right, but I still feel that L.S. could be Lilian Shepard.

^ Team Silent didn't develop Homecoming, so any Ideas they had for a potential SH5 died when they stopped making the Silent Hill games.

SH2 and 4 were made by the same people and they may well have thought about using Walter as a character when they wrote the newspaper clipping about his

"Death".

I don't think Double Helix would have gotten their hands on anything that Team Silent wrote so that would debunk the possibility of any of their ideas getting into Homecoming, more's the pity =( as they would have made it better.

I don't hate homecoming but it was the beginning of the end.

L.S. could be anyone, could be nobody, just two random letters, there's not really any evidence to even make an educated guess.

If it were officially referring to someone in particular, somebody on this forum would have found out by now. Of that I am certain.

I don't think any of the characters in Homecoming already existed in the mythos of SH. DH made them up.

You guys are probably correct with that, I was just throwing it out there, no real thought behind it.
