samael is to satan as metatron( valtiel) is to god. they are both right under the supreme deities

Samael and Metatron are both under God. Samael isn't an evil demon or a fallen angel, but if anything Metatron's equal, or even another aspect of him. They're basically equivalent.

...You need to read some more mythology. Lots of supernatural beings have multiple names and titles. God, for example, is said to have a billion names in certain Abrahamic faiths.

This trend is usually because most young cultures held the idea that a person's true name could be used to threaten or control them with magic, so things like gods, demons, and angels only told mortals a bunch of false names.

YES. That's exactly what I said the first time. They're two aspects of the same entity.

They're two sides of the same coin, basically, thus they "share the same existence."

its kinda confusing. my theory is that valtiel is actually in control of the otherworld( i remember when we see him turning the valves, i felt like he was repairing the otherworld. making sure it worked). also seemed like he was a guardian for heather( moreso for the god fetus)

Valtiel isn't really in control of the Otherworld. Even if you interpret him as being a real deity and not a manifestation, all he's doing is symbolically representing the spread and growth of the Otherworld that Alessa is responsible for.

1) That's not what schizoid means. 2) It's not crazy or dissociative to have many names, as I already explained. Having multiple titles and names is impressive and indicative of great power in mythology and magic.

I don't see Alessa as god, but as a person who gave birth to God, though she does have some remarkable powers.

Alessa is the Mother of God, not God itself/herself/whatever. Without her, "God" can't be born into this world. They're not the same being. She's simply the vessel used for birthing/creating it. It's sort of like the Virgin Mary and Jesus. Mother and child.
You're right about Valtiel though. He/it is God's valet or whatever. His purpose is to watch over Heather, but that's just to ensure she births God, otherwise he's not particularly interested in her.

Sort of. Walter is preforming a different ritual/ceremony than the one that was done to Alessa. This is an interesting thread about it all.
