Halo of the Sun
I was looking through some new fonts and I stumbled upon the language that the words on the Halo of the Sun are in. The pic I had was mirrored, so it came out in the wrong order:
Around the outside it says; "ALessA" "DAhLiA" "incubAs".
But theres a word I don't understand. Its either "alizer" or "rezila".
The symbols inbetween the three circles are "D" "J" and "R".
The middle symbol in the very middle is absent.
The pic I have isnt very good and I cant see the tiny writing around the inside of the second outer circle.
Any thoughts? I know that people have already found this out on other sites, but I think that we should give it a try here.

Okay, here's some info.
The one in the middle looks like a crown to me. How about the marks along the outside?
For the record, I was thinking of this.Represents the deity known as "The Halo of the Sun." In heraldry, symbolizes a religious group.
The two outer circles are charity and resurrection; the three inner circles are present, past, and future.
Obviously Bomber's right about a prophetic element, though I can't seem to find the information I was thinking of. There's nothing in the inner circles, however. So the outermost circle is either charity or ressurection, holding the names Alessa, Dahlia, Incubas, and Alizer. With Alessa's name there I'd stick it with ressurection. On the assumption that the charity symbols are the ones too small to read, we can relate the single symbols near the center to past, present and future, though in what order and what their significance is, is beyond me.There is no religion that has remained unchanged from the moment it was founded. This one is no execption.
When this religion fell into the hands of immigrants, it was deeply influenced by their own original Christian beliefs.

>So 'R' would be the head of the Holy Mother Sect?
George Rosten or Toby Archibold. Wouldn't fit given the others are by their first names. And Toby Archibold wasn't the head of the Sect of the Holy Mother until after George Rosten was killed, by my timeline, six years before Silent Hill 3.

Well, Jimmy Stone was the head of the Sect of Valtiel, created for purpose of intermediating between the Sect of the Holy Mother (led by George Rosten; later Toby Archibold) and the Sect of the Holy One (led by Dahlia Gillespie; later Claudia Wolfe). I can't say with certainty whom is being represented simply because we don't know when the Halo of the Sun was conceived & created by The Order.
Since it wasn't evident at all during Silent Hill 1, I believe it was created ten years after Dahlia's death, when Vincent re-established The Order. This, being a few years before Mr. Stone's & Mr. Rosten's deaths, could suggest different leaders for different Sects, but it doesn't appear that Mr. Rosten is mentioned--or that they'd use his last name, but only the first name of the others.
Are you certain the middle-symbols are representative of a D & J?, and that the other is an R?
It could be a case of pre-cognition, considering Claudia's abilities--The Sight. If you go by my belief that Claudia, and The Sight, is responsible for depicting the six paintings in the Chapel, then it wouldn't far-fetched to say she'd have the ability to determine snippets of the future. But, then again, her abilities were only used to see into the past, to understand what occurred when Alessa was to birth God before.

Because she was the one who was caring for Alessa, and the cult belive Alessa can birth their god. Lisa was caring for Alessa for 7 years in the hospital basement until the events of Sh1.
Also considering the theory about Claudhia's Sight power, she was responsable for the myth paintings, and other things, maybe the Halo of the Sun was made because of things she knew through her powers. It would seem likely Lisa would have been shown by the cult in some sort of light, thats 'if' Lisa was invisioned in Claudhia's Sight. And considering memories of Lisa are in Claudhia's Otherside, it seems likely to me.

Claudia has little suasion of the [otherside]'s appearance. It's created by God.
>Because she was the one who was caring for Alessa
The Order had nothing to do with her being caretaker; Michael Kaufmann was responsible for that.

This is something I've suggested before, but I guess now is a good time for any to elaborate my thoughts.
I think ALIZER (not the other way around, as in REZILA) is the devine entity whose shape Alessa believed the form of God to be. We know that Dahlia believed in God's form to be Incubus. Naturally, to my understanding, if "Dahlia" and "Incubus" are mentioned, and we then have "Alessa," then ALIZER could refer to what we see in the game as Alessa/Incubator, that entity which resumed the form of God that Alessa believed in.
I would go as far to say that ALIZER is probably the third figure that we see in the murals of the Other Church in Silent Hill 3. There's Valtiel, Incubus, and a third female figure. My belief is that this is ALIZER.

That does not disprove that Lisa wasent seen by Claudia's sight power.the Adversary wrote:>Because she was the one who was caring for Alessa
