It´s from the same series as Higurashi no Naku Koro ni ! Then the third one "Umineko" must be good too isn it ?AuraTwilight wrote:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umineko_no_Naku_Koro_niWelcomeToNowhere wrote:Umm... AuraTwilight? What's "Umineko No Naku Koro Ni"? I've never heard of it.
I highly recommend it to anyone who likes mindfucks and theorizing. It's basically "Wild Speculation: The Series."
(This reminds me I must end the anime of Higurashi... )
Ops ! Going back to the topic, Heather could be considered a witch/person with psychic powers, she casted the "Tu fui ego eris" spell unintentionally and it worked then she may have some magic, psychic or whatever powers because she is the reincarnation of Alessa.

This more or less might be true but I figured Heather didn't have any powers(least not anymore).LittleRed wrote:Let's weigh her against a duck, then we'll know if she's a witch or not.
I believe she had the same sort of powers as Alessa, but since she was ignorant of her origins they may have manifested in a subconscious capacity or not at all.
She was reincarnated and because of this she might have lost her powers as she is another life.
May be stupid but hey its an explanation.
It takes much more courage and intelligence to face truth as it is, out in the world and inside oneself, without wishful thinking or preference based on a superficial view of reality.

Indeed. God can only be birthed by a woman with concealed powers. This is probably why Claudia made any success at all. The birthing happened, since she had powers too, but they weren't as strong as Alessa's, so the baby deity came out like she had been hitting the chronic during pregnancy.

I thought I heard that any girl could birth the god but some more compatible than others.AuraTwilight wrote:Indeed. God can only be birthed by a woman with concealed powers. I figured the only reason they chased heather was because Alessa was the only one they found compatible enough.

regains her past memories in the game, and a premonition of this is already
apparent even in the bad dream that immediately follows the opening. What
becomes the scene of the beginning of her nightmare is the amusement park
that also appears in the latter half of the game. One can think that
Heather is endowed with precognitive abilities and that this dream was a
warning that she sent to herself."[1]
"After uniting, Alessa had acquired psychic powers such as teleportation--
powers that she had always possessed. If she had been living under normal circumstances, these
powers would almost never manifest themselves. Alessa naturally possessed a certain amount of
spiritual intuition and at that point in time her "sixth sense" was powerful enough that she was
having premonitions, but these were more like hunches than supernatural powers. Her mother
Dahlia may have performed magic and the like, but this does not mean she had special powers."[2]

And like Carrie they have to "awaken" under extreme circumstances.
"Lowlifes... Shameless filthy wretches. How you celebrate my ascension with such joy. Hailing the very one you've condemned for generations. Have you no shame? What happened to the evil, ruthless sorceress from your fantasies? The cold-blooded tyrant that slaughtered countless men and destroyed many nations? Where is she now?"
