Is Heather a witch?
In Silent Hill 3, we hear that Alessa was a witch, who could kill people with her mind, and other creepy things. Since Heather and Alessa are more or less the same person, does that make Heather a witch, too?

Maybe, but to a much lesser extent than Alessa.
She was still able to send herself a foreboding message before a certain event happened; that or it could've just been the typical run-of-the-mill premonition that everyone has once in a while, lol.
But if she had powers that were on par with Alessa I'm fairly certain Claudia would've been dead much earlier in the game.

I think Heather will eventually be as strong as she was but it'll take a lot of time. She's spent the last seventeen years trying to buy every memory of being Alessa, which includes how to perform magic. And there was one time during the game, in the office building, where she cast that spell, "Ego eris, tu fui," to destory that monster at the entrance. Even if it wasn't intentional, it showed that she could have some control over the otherworld.
"They look like monsters to you?"

Heather can see the future, clearly indicating that all of Alessa's powers are there to some extent, but are simply not being used (probably because Heather doesn't know who she is for atleast half the game).
Also, this thread's title isn't helping me suppress my Silent Hill/Umineko no Naku Koro ni crossover fantasies.

I highly recommend it to anyone who likes mindfucks and theorizing. It's basically "Wild Speculation: The Series."

Reading through the visual novels and waiting on episode 6's translation.
It takes much more courage and intelligence to face truth as it is, out in the world and inside oneself, without wishful thinking or preference based on a superficial view of reality.
