Is Heather a witch?

Heather finds out why it's true that you shouldn't talk to strangers. Or look in mirrors, quite honestly.

Is Heather a witch?

Post by WelcomeToNowhere »

In Silent Hill 3, we hear that Alessa was a witch, who could kill people with her mind, and other creepy things. Since Heather and Alessa are more or less the same person, does that make Heather a witch, too?

Heather displays none of Alessa's powers. We can safely assume she is not.

Yes, but who knows if Heather obtains her natural powers after the events of SH3? That would be an interesting lead into a new story, possibly, because God has slumbered inside of her, so who's to say that her powers don't slumber in her, but haven't "awaken" (necessarily) yet?

^ I knew something was up with her! Thought she was a clown though...

Heather is of course a witch. How else can she shoot beams from her mind?! Maybe that's how Alessa killed people.. Alessa Beam!!

I always knew it. I just never came out to realize it.

That Alessa Beam thing could actually be possible. You never know.

Alessa wasn't ever really a witch tho right?

She just kinda got those powers after she was burned up in her house. So not really a witch more like a demon?

If I remember correctly, she had powers before she was burned.

Maybe, but to a much lesser extent than Alessa.

She was still able to send herself a foreboding message before a certain event happened; that or it could've just been the typical run-of-the-mill premonition that everyone has once in a while, lol.

But if she had powers that were on par with Alessa I'm fairly certain Claudia would've been dead much earlier in the game.

I think Heather will eventually be as strong as she was but it'll take a lot of time. She's spent the last seventeen years trying to buy every memory of being Alessa, which includes how to perform magic. And there was one time during the game, in the office building, where she cast that spell, "Ego eris, tu fui," to destory that monster at the entrance. Even if it wasn't intentional, it showed that she could have some control over the otherworld.

I proved Dahlia was a robot probably two years ago.

Heather can see the future, clearly indicating that all of Alessa's powers are there to some extent, but are simply not being used (probably because Heather doesn't know who she is for atleast half the game).

Also, this thread's title isn't helping me suppress my Silent Hill/Umineko no Naku Koro ni crossover fantasies.

I know they probably intended it as a joke, but maybe Heather uses her magical sparkly powers to transform into that Sailor Moon clone, Princess Heart!

Wait a second. Alessa had some kind of powers before she burnt, that is why Dahlia wanted to borrow "a teeny tiny bit"......

I highly recommend it to anyone who likes mindfucks and theorizing. It's basically "Wild Speculation: The Series."

Going off topic but have you gone through episode 5 yet(They translated that one).

Reading through the visual novels and waiting on episode 6's translation.
It takes much more courage and intelligence to face truth as it is, out in the world and inside oneself, without wishful thinking or preference based on a superficial view of reality.

"You always feel like you are the only one in the world, like everyone else is crazy for each other, but it's not true. Generally, people don't like each other very much. And that goes for friends, too. "
