Hello. I basically decided to create a more forum-friendly (and probably easier to find) compilation of technical enemy data from Silent Hill 3. It's much less pretty than a list (found here) I've been working on for one of my future Silent Hill 3 websites. I've omitted a few creatures on purpose—namely Valtiel, the Fukuro Woman, Glutton and the Carousel Horses. You can find their information on the list, though.

Enjoy, and happy hunting. <3

Very simple, comprehensive, and easy to find the right info. Great work!

If you don't mind my asking, where did you get this information? PC game info files, I suspect, but just curious.

Whitney passed the information on to me through an official guide, haha. I had a list put together myself but it was more based on the amount of weapon attacks because there's no real way to determine the specific amount of damage that is dealt. This is all raw though—there are some damage modifiers like lack of stamina, blocking, Bulletproof vest, etc.

I could have up a forum-friendly versions of the other information pages some time soon! Thanks for viewing!

Huh, the enemies sure do look even spookier in high contrast black and white, don't they...

Nice little guide, though! Fun facts like these are always good for a read.

Looking at this list takes me back....i actually went into the original link to look at glutton and it reminds me of that particular area that had those bodies hanging off into the distance on the side of that creature...SH3 had incredible atmosphere. Even tho that creature couldn't harm you, it still felt like it was a threatning prescence.

Nice find Kerrigan!!...:)

The black and white versions of the pictures look way creepier than the colored ones. To me, at least. Great info included.

Makes me miss my SH3 strategy guide a little less. What you need to do now is show the stats for the weapons so that we can see how much damage it takes to kill the enemies with each weapon.

Holy crap. I had never thought about the max. life attributes would be on the Extreme playthroughs. I mean:
Kerrigan wrote:

That is pretty crazy. At least for a SH game. This is pretty helpful. Thanks for going through all the pain and time to put this together for us to enjoy.

Impresive this helped a lot, you should put up strategies on how to kill them more efficiently for hard and extreme modes, those pendulms are pissing me off!

Are there really closers in the subway? The reason I ask is because I have this very vague memory of (possibly) encountering one in one of the hallways down there on my very first playthrough, but I've never encountered another one ever since. Keep in mind that my first playthrough was way back in '04 so I'm not really sure if I did see one, but seeing this posted makes me wonder if I really did find one there.

Also, sorry for the thread revival. This was just really bugging me and would be great if someone else was able to confirm this.

Hmm, okay. I guess it's just one of those random things that you only encounter on certain playthroughs.

There's nothing random within the game. It's just a certain area.

That's not true. The growling around the turnstiles area in the subways is random and doesn't happen in every playthrough. I imagine there are others.
