Virtual Heather girlfriend?

I'm actually now confused as to the main topic of this thread. Are we supposed to be discussing the particular program in relation to a Heather inspired model, or are we supposed to be discussing digital sex toy a.i.s?

As it says right in the first post, this thread was supposed to be about making a virtual Heather or other SH character that people could converse with. The sex dolls/perversion was only added later by other people. I suppose it was a natural progression given that a lot of the technology we have now is due to sex and porn. Such is the way humanity thinks and works...

Whether it's for a virtual "girlfriend" or anything else, why would you want to make a pretend person to talk to?

As nightmarish as this thread has been, I'm quite interested in the chatbot business. And the whole brought up idea of turning a video game character into a chatbot.


Someone's done this before with a Kirk chatbot:

It would have taken a ton of effort. The base AI was already done, but what had to be done to make Kirk the character he is, was to scan all of his quotes featured in his role in the Star Trek series. That totalled >9000.

What I also find interesting is the 3-D talking avatar that's displayed. I couldn't find the base software that was used to create it, (so I suspect it was made exclusively for this bot) but bears almost identical resemblance to Reallusion's CrazyTalk program.

It's self explanatory on the site, and it's pretty awesome. It lets you use any image to create a 3-D face, which can lip-sync to any sound clip or text it is given. The settings also allow the avatar to act natural while idle (eyes follow mouse, shoulder movement, etc).

But I reckon dynamic avatar technology combined with a chatbot = profit.

I've stumbled upon Pandorabots, about an era ago, and it has a tool that allows you to customize your own chatbot using existing AI.

It's a talking Cheryl Mason model created using the Crazytalk program by Reallusion.
The main problem I had was failing to find a long enough voice clip from Heather in the games. Also failed was my effort to find a text-to-speech voice that sounds young enough.

I know this has nothing to do with chatbots, nor anything relevant to (the third word of) "Virtual Heather Girlfriend" but this may simply interest the thread creator, as there aren't more realistic displays of talking avatars that actually come with AI (minus Uncanny Valley creepiness).
Although some users of the web have actually managed to implement the program with chatbots and Text to Speech.

As of now, the A.I-less model/s are useless in relation to this thread, but I just thought it would be some eye candy for inspiration.
