The Mason Family

I'm very interested in the Mason family. There are just two people in it right? Harry who died in silent hill 3 and Cheryl/Heather. And heather is Heather Mason right, not heather morris? Also how do you pronounce it? May-sun?

Heather is heather mason yes, heather morris is the woman who did heathers voice and animations

Two people that we know of, anyway.
Heather Morris was Heather's fake name, I believe, and also the name of the person who did her voice.

I know that Heather Morris is the voice actress, but I didn't know that Heather's fake name. Where in the game did it say that? Please educate me

It doesn't say it in the game, but it's on the back of the game's case.

It doesn't. I wouldn't take the back of the package as anything insightful. The only thing we know is that Harry's daughter began using the alias Heather after the incident in which Harry shot an occult-freak.

There's no mention of the name Morris anywhere.

I thought the Morris thing was a preliminary-concept-twiddle-bit that got tossed or something.

I dont really see any other way to pronounce Mason...

and didnt Konami's coverage call her Heather Morris?

I doubt they'd use "Mason" since the cult knew it...

I believe Konami changed Heather's surname to 'Morris', after they found the actress to play Heather, Heather Morris.

But other than that, it's a fake name. After the game ends, Heather has her name changed to Cheryl Mason.

Heather never had any other name; she was always Cheryl Mason until Harry killed the occult-freak in self-defense. After that, she began using the alias Heather. That's it. The name Morris is nothing but the actress who voiced Heather.

And just FYI: if you play the first game Harry says it himself, clearing up any confusion. There's really not many ways you could say it, I think.

It is pronounced May-Sun. Other Masons? Don't forget about
Harry's dead wife who we can see in the start screen cut scene.
Can't remember her name or if it ever was even mentioned?
Heather fact: Heather was designed to look like Sophie Marseau.

Ahhh, I see. So at the end, she just goes back to using her real name...see, I thought they were in a witness relocation program, and so had their names legally changed. Mild discrepency at best.
