Silent Hill Heaven

I heard that there are moments in this game where Heather references Silent Hill 2 stuff; one of which is at the mailboxes right before she goes . I wasn't able to access that; was I supposed to do anything special? I was able to access the toilet easter egg earlier in the game no problem. I have the Silent Hill HD Collection, btw.

Did heather say anything at all when you checked the mailbox?

You didn't miss much, she only says something about there being no mail .

I'm not sure about the HD Collection, but I'm pretty sure with the original games you need a save file for SH2 on your memory card to get that particular easter egg.

Actually wait, I think she just said there was nothing in the mailbox. Maybe I looked in the wrong one? Is that possible?

Not sure about HD collection, but I do know that I've experienced the mailbox easter egg myself in the PS2 version of Silent Hill 3.

If she said theres nothing there thats pretty much it just a bit of text with the bit thats in a spoiler tag above

I saw it.

I was able to access that easter egg the second time around while trying to get the Possessed ending. I don't know if it's only available in the Extra New Game mode or whether I accidentally moved the control stick the first time around, but I don't have any more issues with it.

the easter eggs do work on the HD collection....be sure to have a completed save of sh2 ofcourse
