Silent Hill Heaven

I finally unlocked the Heather Beam to get the UFO ending, but what the hell? Every time I shoot an enemy with it like a dog or a numb body, they're too short for the beam to hit. The only enemy I was able to successfully hit were the Closers but it barely seems to hurt them. How am I going to get 30 kills with a weapon that can't even hit, or even harm in some cases, the monsters?

You can aim it (kinda) with the right stick, since the camera aim function turns Heather's head.

Also, I think its power is based on your end-of-game score. Or something like that.

I just tried that and I saw no difference in the aiming style, sorry. It's also impractical as I need my right thumb to tap X (for PS3) to fire and therefore isn't free to move the right joystick.

Oh, right, my bad. I forgot how complex it was.

You have to hold L2 and then use the right stick. As well as holding R2 and pressing X. Yeah, I know.

I suggest you move the right stick with your left hand.

Thanks, I did some experimenting and it turns out if you hold X while holding R2 a different kind of Heather Beam comes out and it homes on.

I had the same problem when I tried it a while back, quickly discovered what I was doing and wrong and grew to love the Heather Beam
