Sh3 paintings found in a non-SH game...
Tonight I was playing MGO(Metal Gear Online/Subsistence). I was on the Ocelot team and decided to hide. The level I was playing in was the Granin design lab, and I hid away in the library. I usually don't hide for long, but something caught my eye...
After taking these pics, I also noticed that the Water Prison from SH4 and Toluca Prison are pictured in black and white along the upstairs walls. No pics of those yet, since I couldn't stop in the dead open and photograph them...I'd just been shot dead. Also worth noting that the few minutes I spent capturing the pictures allowed my team to go ahead. Maybe I die too much. Poor Ocelots.
If anyone needs reminding, info on the paintings is found here, with visual aid:

Oh, and Metal Gear is another Konami game...

Those painting pictures aren't necessarily a homage to Silent Hill 3 itself, but the artist who drew those paintings worked on MGS3 as well.

There has been something similar in the past in ties with MGS and SH.
In SH3 in the building world you can break through a wall and obtain
a silencer very similar to that of Solid Snakes silencer in MGS2. There
was a reference to this on G4 as well.

It's true that he's thinking of making a movie out of another one of "Konami's popular video games", but which one is not confirmed. It might be MGS, but it might as well be something else too.FrozenHalo wrote:I've also heard rumors that Gans is interested in doing the Metal Gear movie and he may get the green light if SH does good in theatres.
But you can indeed find some of these easter eggs in Kojima's latest games. Except posters and paintings, you also have Ape Escape in MGS3 and the Rumble Roses-girls in Subsistence...

Baker appears in MGS, and dies of a heart attack.

Think of Italy — which reminds me of California in so many ways — and its chronic inability to form a government. That’s California, with even better food and no parliamentary system.
....somewhere in Italy a contract was put out on the life of the article's author.
