SH3, ICO, Shadow Of The Colossus, Devil May Cry 3 and God Of War have the best graphics for PS2!

That might even be so but i must stress that

those that think sh3 looks better then homecoming is redundant

Its like saying that sh1 looks better then 2

The shear fact that in homecoming they are working with several more pixel polygons and incredibly more detailed textures indicates the amount of work that is put into it.

For next gen homecoming looks very well polished especially among the multi console games.
I have seen far worse looking titles
The only games i say look better are simply the ps3 exclusives.
Also with silent hill 3 of course they are going to look good for a console generation because survival horror games are significantly shorter then most genre's
and can have more polish on things. The same goes for fighting games since there is not a need for highly detailed large areas they can make the character models look outstanding compared to say an action adventure game.

The only problem homecoming really has is the shading/shadows are edgy but most games that year have that issue evan metal gear solid for the ps3 or devil may cry which is for both consoles.

SO like i have explained it is silly to compare a game like homecoming to sh3 which by the way would be determined by the simple fact of which tv you are using .

a 1080p tv is going to show all of the flaws in a sh3 type of game

Silent Hill Homecoming looked the best of course its on a next generation console...
but as for the game itself too many characters, pyramid head looks ridiculous...and nobody gets skewered upside down in a tight pink miniskirt.....

it just wasn't pyramid head.....he had no purpose in homecoming....then again homecoming had no purpose at all....there was a sign in that game somewhere that said Silent Hill....but I couldn't find exactly where Silent Hill was

In what way does he look ridiculous, it's not as if he has pixels showing on his textures or anything. Or are you simply agitated with his appearance being similar to the movies.

When i see him in homecoming i am in awe of his grotesque beauty

I do agree that silent hill 3 does have great graphics and the best of the series on the "PS2" nuff said

Silent Hill 3 has good graphics, but graphics are a thing that don't amuse me. What is better is good gameplay mechanics.

But a wonderful game has great gameplay sound graphics story characters

It needs all types of great things to be a truly memorable game including graphics

Not a problem When a game has all of those elements it stimulates all of the senses

Silent hill 3 is my favorite and it has all of these elements.

Some complain that it is just one revamped however i disagree for the most part
