Does anybody else think Douglas and Vincent spoke too slowly? I thought Heather and Claudia were decent, but those two always bothered me when they talked.

Douglas is also kind of old with a history of smoking. Hard on the old lungs.

I didnt mind Vincent in the game..Hehad faith and knew alot about what was going on.. he was a little weird though.. Claudia just freaked me out.. Her voice done my head in aswell.. Blabbering and all.. But it worked well for the for her character..

Vincent talks looking at the reaction of his own words, and he enjoys that:
V:Monsters? Do they look like monsters to you?
H: Oh no!
V:Don´t worry.It´s just a joke.
(He says that with that evil grin)

Think of Italy — which reminds me of California in so many ways — and its chronic inability to form a government. That’s California, with even better food and no parliamentary system.

Personally, I thought the acting varied among the characters. Some parts, Heather just made me groan (not in the good way). Other times, Claudia's overacting ("they have come to witness the beginning..." Blech!) drove me nuts. Douglas was a drunken old dick; his acting worked out for me, ultimately. Vincent... well, Vincent I accepted with a smile because he's pretty like that. Overall, though, I'd have to say I enjoyed the acting. Not bad, but not academy winning, y'know?
You'll be missed. You were missed. I am missing you.

I thought it was a bit dramatic at some parts, but they seemed like real people. A teen with a bit of an attitude, an old detective who's obviously had a hard life, a strange lesiurly man from the Cult, and an eccentric chick who, when growing up, had to deal with her best friend nearly being burnt to death, also belonging to the Cult.
