What the hell?!?!

What the hell?!?!

Post by Harrier »

So I'm playin' SH3 a third time around on Extra New Game, riddle and action difficulties hard.

I reach Brookhaven but there's no Stanley's diaries anywhere!
Can ya believe it?

So my natural reaction was like "What the hell?! Did I purchase some pirate crap again?!"

Man, I bought it for $15 and it even has a manual inside. So what's the point?

Are you sure the diary is supposed to be there in that new extra game mode?

The riddle dificulty, game mode or whatever might have some influence on the placement of the diaries. You should check gamefaqs or something... I, at least, highly doubt this has anything to do with your copy beaing pirated or not... and as far as I know, all SH versions (PAL and what not) have the exact same content

yea I doubt it has anything to do with the game at all.... Must be the game modes and riddle modes you selected.. It still sounds a bit strange to me though

If you didn't read the first diary, the rest of them will be gone.

The first diary should be in a room close to the entrance of the hospital. I can't remember where exactly, but you got right when you come into the hospital and it will be one of those doors on the side. Do correct me if I am wrong.

I think the first diary was in the visiting office. I know its in the "main hall" or whatever you call it . if it is in the visiting office it should be on the table

It was in the Visiting Room. After you enter the hospital, take your immediate right and then a left and it should be the third door to your right, I believe. But as St. Thomas said, you had to read the first one before any of the others will show up.

No. The office where you get the map is in the room when you walk directly into Brookhaven, walk straight and it is on the wall in front of you slightly to the right. They are two different rooms.

If Chins Could Kill, that's common.

I mean I just didn't come across them at all. But I guess I just missed the first one... :?

I remember once I started a new game and noticed the same thing, but later found out that I never checked the first diary on the first floor of the hospital. If you don't read the first one, then none of them show up.
