Considering Chris is probably only in the film because executives didn't think a female-heavy cast would make for a worthwhile release, this has unfortunate implications aplenty.

I was thinking he meant SH2 didn't have the cult aspect, but SH4 has it, so I'm confused.

Maybe they meant that the next film shouldn't have the cult as a massive part of the plot, but in the background as in Silent Hill 2, where the only mention of it is in the ceremony

Personally, I don't mind them giving us a view of the cult in the film, as long as we do not get yet another Christabella.
