They could be using it for the hospital, church or Nowhere.
But none sound like power plants

Looks cool. I agree that it will indeed be used for Otherworld sets. Likely even an Otherworld hospital.

Based on the look of the outside my vote leans toward the Hospital, but I see how it could also be the Church or just some random Otherworld location.

Why can't it be a power plant?! I for one would love it as I am extremely partial to them, alive or abandoned. I will allow this instance of straying from the game.

Also that carousel looks completely awesome. Some freaky effects to that in movie please!
Thanks for posting.

If the carousel is there, I'm assuming that if they're following the same order as in the game, the amusement park carousel descends into the area beneath the church. SO all this must be that same industrial sort of area.

They could also work a powerplant in there, assuming the mines in the first movie were for coal to feed the plant...

I saw a photo with a hospital-esque sign that made me think that it would be used as the hospital. That's what I'm thinking it's going to be. Someone argued with me on the Facebook page that, since they're using fog, that they must be filming an outdoor location inside. Meh.

I'm posting this so we aren't bombarded with 'New Filming Location' threads. A new set was posted on the Silent Hill Revelation: 3D fan page. Apparently they are using a high school as a set for the movie. I'm going to assume more Midwich fun.

That location looks fabulous.
Too cold to start a fire
I'm burning diesel, burning dinosaur bones
I'll take the river down to still water
And ride a pack of dogs

Central Tech?! Hey another location closer to me! :P

I don't recall a school being in the game, maybe it's a new location just for the film, or they're turning the location into something else...

Wasn't Brookhaven a mental hospital originally, before the first movie confused it with Alchemilla? It had padded walls in some rooms and lunatics like Stanley Coleman, after all.
