SourceAdelaide Clemens was hardly recognizable as she did an interview with Best Movie International because of the make up she had on during the filming of Silent Hill: Revelation. The interviewer reported that he could hardly recognize her under her ghost-like make up they said, “Her blond locks are plastered under a BLACK mass, and her skin glows with a deathlike pallour.†Adelaide replied saying “I cant reveal too much, but this is the only scene in which I have this look; Im walking through my own nightmare and discover Im not who I thought I was.â€

Dark Alessa?
It sounds like either Dark Alessa or Memory of Alessa is in the film.

Sounds like, and I hope it is, Memory of Alessa. Oh, how much I'd squeal if MoA was in it!

I wonder if it is going to be the mirror room scene. That's what it sounds like to me.

Re: Dark Alessa?
I was thinking it may be the carousel fight, and they would have her play both Heather and MoA during that scene, but the Mirror scene would be amazing.

Re: Dark Alessa?
It's more than likely the Memory of Alessa on the carousel because we saw all of those pictures of the horses and stuff, so it's probably that.
Although the mirror scene would look awesome in the film, it might seem a bit random....
I hope we get some sort of teaser in the next couple of months!

The article is from Best Movie International, a free EMagazine. The actual article isn't very long. If you are curious to read it I have a large image of the entire article over on my Silent Hill site.

Re: Dark Alessa?
The mirror scene would scare the shit out of those who haven't played the games, and probably even those who have. If they do it, she better try to open the door and realize it's locked like in the game. I think the fact that you thought you were permanently locked in there, looking at a mirror showing Heather start to look bloody and scary really helped bring up the fear of the room. Either way, I'm fine with it. I would love to have both, quite frankly, but I do think that the Carousel is what's going to be depicted here.

Thanks for posting the link, Whitney. It's a really nice, quick eye snack for my Silent Hill craving. I like that Clemens screams like that before each take, it's really funny, yet shows how she's committed to her work, as well as her wanting to be as close to Heather's situation as possible.
The inspiration from Goya is very promising. I'm going to be looking into more of his work now.

I like the information in that article, but damn, there are some glaring grammar mistakes. Did nobody hire a proofreader?

Re: Dark Alessa?
This is why I hope they'll include the mirror room scene. It was one of the creepiest things in the world to me, the first time I experienced it. Also, if it is included, as is, it'd be great if they make sure Heather mentions how she doesn't like mirrors, earlier on in the film, just to add to the fear factor of being trapped in such a room. =DAerith Gainsborough wrote:The mirror scene would scare the shit out of those who haven't played the games, and probably even those who have. ^Definitely. The whole mentioning of the fear of mirrors would definitely be a very nice touch.

Re: Dark Alessa?
I used to suffer from nichtoeisoptrophobia (fear of mirrors in the dark), back then I was a lot more irrational than I grew up to be, but then I guess all kids are more irrational than the adults that they become. But I remember the sheer terror I felt when faced with a darkened mirror, so I can completely relate to that type of fear, and would love to see the mirror scene in the movie.

I, too, would love to see the mirror scene included, although that doesn't really sound like what she described. Either way, I look forward to seeing what she was talking about.

Re: Dark Alessa?
I really don't see how they could make the mirror scene work.
