Revelations costumes at Toronto exhibit
For anyone who lives in Toronto, the costumes from Revelation are on exhibit at the TIFF Bell Lightbox until March of this year. I'm absurdly jealous.

That's amazing! I would die to go to that! Also, I noticed it says, "Silent Hill 2: Revelations." Is this another mess up, or is this the real title? I really, really hope not.

Does that mean normal character costumes or actual monster/creature suits? We need members to be sent there ASAP!

The artworks commissioned by Avary say "Revelations", while the official press releases from after Bassett took over say "Revelation". It appears the title underwent a minor change when the script shifted writers. I'm pretty sure "Revelation" is the correct term now.Aerith Gainsborough wrote:That's amazing! I really hope they take the "Revelation" out of the title because of the amounts of other things coming out with it in their titles. "Assassin's Creed Revelations" "Resident Evil Revelations" ect....
Shop smart, shop S-Mart.

Someone took a video of one of the two costumes:

Quite different from a normal SH aesthetic, but it's pretty sweet nonetheless. Bondage, anyone? Reminds me of something from the movie Ink.
The other costume was reported to be a variation on the miner costume from the first movie.

I don't know who is wearing it, but that costume is going to look badass on the big screen, especially in 3D.
For some reason, the costumes of the supposed bad guys (Claudia, whoever is clad in this bondage robe thing, and the others in that picture) are giving off medieval vibes. I really like it.
Claudia's is pretty cool from what we've snuck a peek at, but she's also out of character and has a coat over it, so I'm excited to see it and everyone else's properly as well. People can hate on my love of science fiction/horror movies all they want, but they better recognize the amazing costumes and make up work that bring these creatures and otherworldly characters to life.
Pan's Labyrinth, anyone? I think I'll re-watch that to get me excited for respectable visual art in film again.

Yes, pictures, please! The link to that video didn't work for me, but of course I found this thread way late.
Sounds intriguing.bl00dmuffin wrote:Bondage, anyone?
