^That's pretty neat and awesome for our UK friends! I kinda wish it were that date for Americans. :\

^They may get the more scenic date, sure, but we get ours sooner. Look on the bright side, Aerith! ^-^

It's our revenge for the UK getting Prometheus first, methinks.

I've been waiting a long time for this and was really glad to see a release date finally revealed. October, here we come!

This no trailer business is getting old. We are about 3 months out and still nothing.

And the trailer will come a few weeks after, they've said.

October isn't that far away, anyway. Having a trailer will help quench my thirst for this movie a bit, but I've found that watching movies without having ever seen their trailers is a fantastic way to go into them.

Plus, I hate going through movies looking for that ONE scene bit I saw in the trailer, and then be disappointed it's not even there.

Oh my goodness, that's happened to me often, and it'll end up being a scene that looked pretty darn awesome, too!

I'm very excited, yet a bit nervous about seeing the clips. I really have high hopes for this film, and I hope they don't get 'shot down in flames.'

I am trying to stay as neutral as possible in regards to the flick. I would rather be pleasantly surprised than let down.

Well, since the director was Michael J Bassett, I'd say we're in for something good. :)

The writer/director said on his blog it would be out in a few weeks. That makes perfect sense, seeing as their marketing budget was probably too small for a teaser, and releasing a full trailer 2 weeks from now would put them at exactly 3 months before the film's release (just as the full trailer for the first film was 3 months ahead).

Seeing as they don't seem to spending much of the budget on advertisement i have a bad feeling this might be all 'financial damage limitation'.

How so? We're just barely starting to see their 3-month lead-in to the film, and hell, we're getting a Silent Hill attraction in October at Universal Studios.
