Here's the trailer! I liked it a lot, although it had some little surprises I wasn't expecting, about Vincent, to be more precise... watch it and you'll know what I'm talking about, I guess. Anyway, I still like and there were some very cool scenes in it. I look forward to this film!

I can see a lot of CGI and Kinda bummed out that there are no SH3 monsters =(... SH2 gets all the glory DX. It also looks real cheezy with Alessa doing all the weird effects.

Too much Pyramid Head and other monsters we've seen before, didn't see Valtiel. Was that PH doing Valtiel's job at one point operating that machine?

I doesn't bother me that much; this film is based on the canon of the movie series and since he was in the first film, I don't have much problem with him being on this one.

I was wondering why Pyramid Head traded his knife for a valve? Reminds me of the "Pyramid Head is Valtiel without the hat" theory. bah! At least the Valtiel statue was in there.

I don't know what to think. I mean, it doesn't look awful, but imo SH3 had the best monsters and environments out of the entire series. If there's not one Closer/Pendulum/Slurper in lieu of monsters like that stupid mannequin...idk, at least the Otherworld is looks pretty awesome.

He's in there because Gans stupidly decided to include him in the first film, and this has to follow continuity. At least we might actually get a decent explanation for him being there this time.

The pyramid head in the game reflect James' sexual frustration not male's.
This isn't the same Pyramid Head like in the game.

I've got to say, I'm not really blown away by this (although I wasn't expecting to be).

While I get that Christopher having a bigger role makes sense with this being an adaptation of 3, I hated his character in the first one and would rather they just stuck with Rose in Harry's role.

Also, there just felt like there was way too much going on. Perhaps it just seems that way because of the way the trailer was edited, but if the whole films like that its going to give me a headache x_x

I dunno, the more I see of this film the lower my expectations get, and they weren't very high to begin with :/

I think it looks amazing actually. Still not a fan of Vincents new character but we can't have everything! I also thought having her in school was going to be really cheesy but they did a good job making it believable. AND ENOUGH SHIT ABOUT PH, YOU KNEW HE WAS GOING TO BE IN THIS ONE AND HE'S BEEN DISCUSSEDBEFORE!! I second Ouiled on that.

I'm loving it. Yeah the effects are kinda cheesy, but the budget's much lower than the first film's. I'm glad they didn't show any monsters from SH3. If they're there, save it for the actual movie experience.

The fire building around the merry go round was amazing!

I also got vibes from alot of the games:

SH1/3: The plot, the Seal of Metatron, the symbols, the locations
SH2: The creatures
SH Origins: Heather's house transforming reminded me of the alternate motel.
Homecoming: The spider-mannequin creature reminded me of Scarlet
