Weird thought... what if it is Rose in the form of a monster? We know that Rose doesn't make it back to the Real World, and that we will see her at some point in the film in the Fog World.
What if Rose turns into this monster to protect Sharon/Heather from Pyramid Head? Weird theory, but I just thought I'd throw it out there.

Oh crap. I was totally with the "Claudia's monster form" theory until you threw that out there. Radha Mitchell said she'd love to come back as a monster, and at the time I was like, "Yeah, how the hell would that work and make sense?" But maybe she got her wish.

Also, to raptor112: If she had made it back to the real world, why wouldn't she be with Christopher and Sharon? She hasn't been present with them in any of the trailer/TV spots/pictures--except the second image released, which is clearly in the Otherworld or Fog World.

I really don't think it bears much resemblance to SH3-God at all. Inspiration? The new monster doesn't seem much like it's inspired by the appearance nor tone of the final boss from the third game. In fact, it seems much more inspired by Hellraiser Cenobites.

There was a photo released (and then taken down), that showed Chris comforting a young Sharon in the hospital. Sharon was wearing the same outfit she was at the end of the first film.
There was another photo released (that is still available) that shows Heather and Rose in the Otherworld, and Rose is wearing the same outfit she was at the end of the first film as well.

Putting two and two together, I'm guessing she doesn't make it back.

Highly doubt that's Claudia. I believe the end will be similar to the game's in that there's a giant monster. Of course such a thing won't likely be put in the trailer and kept secretive as it is the ending. It is probably also a mix of practical and CG or wholly CG.

I disagree that Disc-Head is a mix between a Missionary, SH3 God, Scrapers and Claudia! That is just way too much blending. Will it be the "god" though? It is possible but what is up with the Discs on her head? I don't approve!
