Silent Hill Revelation is already available to buy digitally

I just noticed today that you can already buy the digital version of SHR on the Windows 8 Video store (which I see here on my desktop cpu running windows 8 ) and on Playstation network video store as well (which I saw today with my PS VITA).
Has anyone else noticed this, and has anyone watched these versions yet?
I was tempted, but I'll hold out for the 3D Blu-ray...

I'm not surprised it's available digitally, it's usually the case these days; the digital version comes out before the DVD/Blu-Ray.
Best Buy has an exclusive offer that lets you have the 3D copy the same date that the 2D copy comes out. Nice.

Yeah today I noticed it on the list of videos on demand that could be rented. It got me wondering as I've heard zilch about its release on DVD.
